    CVE-2019-0053

        inetutils 的 telnet 客户端未充分验证环境变量可导致基于堆栈的缓冲区溢出。此问题仅限于从受限制 shell 进行的本地利用。

    CVE-2021-40491

         2.2 之前版本的 inetutils 的 ftp 客户端未验证 PSV/LSPV 响应返回的地址来确保其与服务器地址匹配。恶意服务器可利用此缺陷来访问客户端专用网络中的服务。这与 curl 的 CVE-2020-8284类似。

    CVE-2022-39028

        通过 2.3 建立的 inetutils 的 telnet 服务器存在空指针取消引用客户端可通过发送 0xff 0xf7 或 0xff 0xf8 来触发此问题。在典型安装中，telnetd 应用程序会崩溃，但 telnet 服务将通过 inetd 继续可用。但是，如果 telnetd 应用程序在短时间内发生多次崩溃，则在 inetd 记录 telnet/tcp 服务器失败（循环）、服务终止错误之后，telnet 服务将不可用。

    对于 Debian 10 buster这些问题已在版本 2:1.9.4-7+deb10u2 中修复。
