    GStreamer is a library for constructing graphs of media-handling components. An out-of-bounds write     vulnerability was identified in the convert_to_s334_1a function in isomp4/qtdemux.c. The vulnerability     arises due to a discrepancy between the size of memory allocated to the storage array and the loop     condition i * 2 < ccpair_size. Specifically, when ccpair_size is even, the allocated size in storage does     not match the loop's expected bounds, resulting in an out-of-bounds write. This bug allows for the     overwriting of up to 3 bytes beyond the allocated bounds of the storage array. This vulnerability is fixed     in 1.24.10. (CVE-2024-47539)

    GStreamer is a library for constructing graphs of media-handling components. An OOB-read vulnerability has     been discovered in qtdemux_parse_container function within qtdemux.c. In the parent function     qtdemux_parse_node, the value of length is not well checked. So, if length is big enough, it causes the     pointer end to point beyond the boundaries of buffer. Subsequently, in the qtdemux_parse_container     function, the while loop can trigger an OOB-read, accessing memory beyond the bounds of buf. This     vulnerability can result in reading up to 4GB of process memory or potentially causing a segmentation     fault (SEGV) when accessing invalid memory. This vulnerability is fixed in 1.24.10. (CVE-2024-47543)

    GStreamer is a library for constructing graphs of media-handling components. An integer underflow has been     detected in qtdemux_parse_trak function within qtdemux.c. During the strf parsing case, the subtraction     size -= 40 can lead to a negative integer overflow if it is less than 40. If this happens, the subsequent     call to gst_buffer_fill will invoke memcpy with a large tocopy size, resulting in an OOB-read. This     vulnerability is fixed in 1.24.10. (CVE-2024-47545)

    GStreamer is a library for constructing graphs of media-handling components. An integer underflow has been     detected in extract_cc_from_data function within qtdemux.c. In the FOURCC_c708 case, the subtraction     atom_length - 8 may result in an underflow if atom_length is less than 8. When that subtraction     underflows, *cclen ends up being a large number, and then cclen is passed to g_memdup2 leading to an out-     of-bounds (OOB) read. This vulnerability is fixed in 1.24.10. (CVE-2024-47546)

This vulnerability can result in reading up to 4GB of process memory or     potentially causing a segmentation fault (SEGV) when accessing invalid memory. This vulnerability is fixed     in 1.24.10. (CVE-2024-47596)

This issue arises when the function     qtdemux_parse_samples reads data beyond the boundaries of the stream->stco buffer. The following code     snippet shows the call to qt_atom_parser_get_offset_unchecked, which leads to the OOB-read when parsing     the provided GHSL-2024-245_crash1.mp4 file. This issue may lead to read up to 8 bytes out-of-bounds. This     vulnerability is fixed in 1.24.10. (CVE-2024-47597)

A null pointer dereference     vulnerability has been discovered in the gst_jpeg_dec_negotiate function in gstjpegdec.c. This function     does not check for a NULL return value from gst_video_decoder_set_output_state. When this happens,     dereferences of the outstate pointer will lead to a null pointer dereference. This vulnerability can     result in a Denial of Service (DoS) by triggering a segmentation fault (SEGV). This vulnerability is fixed     in 1.24.10. (CVE-2024-47599)

A null pointer dereference     vulnerability has been discovered in the gst_matroska_demux_update_tracks function within matroska-     demux.c. The vulnerability occurs when the gst_caps_is_equal function is called with invalid caps values.
    If this happen, then in the function gst_buffer_get_size the call to GST_BUFFER_MEM_PTR can return a null     pointer. Attempting to dereference the size field of this null pointer results in a null pointer     dereference. This vulnerability is fixed in 1.24.10. (CVE-2024-47603)

    In the GST_MATROSKA_ID_CODECPRIVATE case within the gst_matroska_demux_parse_stream function, a data chunk     is allocated using gst_ebml_read_binary. Later, the allocated memory is freed in the     gst_matroska_track_free function, by the call to g_free (track->codec_priv). Finally, the freed memory is     accessed in the caps_serialize function through gst_value_serialize_buffer. The freed memory will be     accessed in the gst_value_serialize_buffer function. This results in a UAF read vulnerability, as the     function tries to process memory that has already been freed. This vulnerability is fixed in 1.24.10.
